Conscious mourning
Emotions after the death of a loved one are complex. Although psychology distinguishes 7 stages of mourning everybody experiences it individually. You can skip certain stages or get stuck in one of them. At the same time the mourning process, albeit unconsciously, prepares us for our own death. Therefore, the mourning of the parents, who have lost a child is so different from the mourning of children who have lost their parents. In mourning, we experience different emotions. It is essential to know how to manage them so that mourning does not determine your here and now. We experience new feelings in mourning.
Our training aims to teach you how to experience grief consciously, in other words:
- focus on feelings and stages that you can accept
- reduce the impact of too intense or destructive emotions
- manage emotions as a full experience of mourning
- express what mourning really means to you and to effectively use it in the future
- understand how much stronger you have become thanks to consciously experienced mourning.
